The AQVADEI wellness centre at the Hotel Due Mari offers treatments drawn from different wellness traditions, partly reinterpreted through Tuscan culture. The “Acqua degli Dei” (Water of the Gods) spa is the ideal place to unwind and restore your energy and vitality.

The Tepidarium: the “Acqua degli Dei” pool

A stone pool overlooking the park, with numerous hydromassage seats. The spa journey begins with a dip under the aromatherapy waterfall: water heated to 34 °C envelops you and lets you float in a world of wellbeing.

The Calidarium

A purifying steam bath with a detoxifying and restorative effect: steam at 42 °C with 100 % humidity. Here your body temperature rises, stimulating circulation.

The Frigidarium

A spring of water at natural temperature in which to immerse yourself and cool the body. Used after the Calidarium, it combines a vasoconstrictive, toning effect with a moment of pure wellbeing.

The Bollori

At the ancient Terme Bagni Freddi, which once stood next to the hotel, thermal springs gushed out naturally and filled pools carved into the travertine, known for this reason as “Bollori”. In homage to this tradition, the three hydromassage tubs rising from the spa floor, at 35 °C, bear the same name.

The Finnish sauna

The Finnish sauna, or dry sauna, has a temperature of around 85 °C and humidity between 15 and 20 %: it gives a beneficial boost to the metabolism, helps to combat stress and supports blood circulation.
